If your pet has an emergency during our regular business hours, please contact us. We have an emergency veterinarian and our clinic can handle most emergency situations. If possible, please call us beforehand, so we can prepare for your arrival.
The easiest answer as to if your per needs emergency vet care is when you feel his or her medical condition is serious and cannot wait. However, the following general situations should help you determine if you need to seek out emergency care for your pet:

We are currently offering two appointment options:
1) CURBSIDE: you may call upon arrival and a tech will meet you at your vehicle to retrieve your pet. The doctor will perform an exam and call you to discuss treatment options. Payment will be taken over the phone and your pet will be returned to you along with any medications, food, etc.
2) IN-CLINIC: you may accompany your pet into the exam room, as before. Please note that you will be asked to wear a mask. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided for you. We also ask that you try as much as possible to maintain a 6 foot distance from other clients, staff, etc. All employees will be wearing masks and all techs/doctors will be wearing gloves.
If you opt for an in-clinic appointment and the lobby becomes crowded, please let the receptionist know you are present and wait outside or in your vehicle until we can get you safely into an exam room.
We are taking employee temperatures daily and asking employees who feel ill to self-isolate at home and contact their healthcare provider.
In addition to our pre-existing sanitation protocol, we are now sanitizing door knobs, pens, clip boards, etc. between each client.
We are encouraging all clients not scheduled for an appointment with the veterinarian (i.e., tech appointments, picking up meds/food, etc.) to stay in the car and call to pay over the phone. We will send someone out with the meds/food or to bring your pet inside and back out to you.
